My Journey

Professional golf never was in my plans. Growing up, I assumed that I’d follow my father’s lead and enter the business world. At Stanford, I was a management science and engineering major, and joined the golf team as a freshman.

COLLEGIATE/AMATEUR YEARS

My breakout sophomore season and ascent to the top of the amateur rankgins surprised everyone – mostly me! The hard workd paid off, and by late 2016 I was rated the number one golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

WEB.COM / KORN FERRY TOUR

Long story short, after a long and nerve wracking run on the Web.com / Korn Ferry tour, making 343 birdies, and raising $385.498 for education, I birdied my last two holes in Portland to make the cut on the number, which I found out walking off the 18th green officially secured a spot in “The 25” to graduate to the PGA Tour the next season!
