Looking to 2020: Starts on the West Coast Swing

As we approach 2020, I wanted to share what my early season schedule might look like! Qualifying for each event is different, due to a range of field sizes and how many top players play, so what we have listed below is the PGA Tour schedule and my prospects for playing each event.

2019 Finale in Sea Island

This is the last event, my 30th, of 2019… and I’m not going to lie, it definitely felt like it. I flew from Cancun to Naples, FL on Sunday night for an all-day corporate event, and then got up early Tuesday morning and drove to Sea island (7.5 hours in a car, with a 4pm arrival at the golf course). I got there just in time for a quick range session at sunset, and then drove down the road to Southern Soul BBQ, which is my new favorite BBQ place on the planet. I even brought some of their Sweet Georgia Soul BBQ sauce home… and am still dreaming of their deep-fried Oreos. Yup, you read that right.

Marathon in Mexico

This week I played in the Mayakoba Golf Classic in Playa Del Carmen, just South of Cancún. The story of the week was the weather, where the golf course got over 10” of rain between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday night! The course was so wet that we were not able to play at all on Thursday, forcing us to have to cram as many holes as possible into Sunday.

Birdies in Bermuda

Checking in with a recap of the first ever Bermuda Championship on the PGA Tour! We played at Port Royal Golf Club, on the southern end of the island of Bermuda. Spoiler alert, Bermuda is my new favorite tropical island destination.
